TITLE: TACTICAL TO PRACTICAL SCOPED RIFLE COURSE (TTPSRC)

PURPOSE: To present a Course of Instruction to present a practical application for the precision scoped rifle (entry level):
- Introduction to the precision scoped rifle system and accessories
- Ammunition selection and options to include introduction to hand-loading
- Ballistics: Internal/External/Terminal
- Data Collection (DOPE)
- Cold Bore/Zeroing Techniques
- Use of Sling/Position Shooting Techniques
- Grouping Exercises
- Introduction to Moving Targets
- Options for Shooting Positions
- Use of reduced image targeting
- Introduction to Range Estimation/Wind Calls/High Angle Shooting
- Preventative Maintenance session
- Introduction to Rifle/Scope Bedding Accuracy Modifications
- Precision Scoped Rifle Qualification
Pre-requisites: This is an Entry Level Shooting Course for Licensed Rifle Owners
SPECIAL INFORMATION: This 2 Day Training Course is specifically designed to present a course of instruction to civilians in order to introduce them to the use of the Precision Scoped Rifle System, the system's limitations and capabilities and environmental effects.
Equipment Requirements: Precision scoped rifle w/ sling and bipod, Spotting scope (optional), Rangefinder (optional), cleaning equipment, notebook and pencils, clothing suitable for training in any weather (long pants/long sleeves), hydration system, sunscreen and bug spray, hat with a brim, eye protection and hearing protection, 200 rounds of ammunition (Match Grade preferred but not necessary)
